Course Description
As a practitioner, you have a legal responsibility to safeguard sensitive information in the face of growing risks, but you aren’t sure how to get started in performing a proper risk assessment or how to find the areas that should be addressed first. In fact, you aren’t exactly sure how to even get started. If those statements describe you, this course will help you take the first steps.
This course is a continuation of a series. In this course, you will learn the next steps you can take to perform a self-assessment of your risks, cover areas of physical safeguards, personnel security, and computer systems & information security. The course will go over checklists you can follow to perform a self-assessment and provide ideas for creating your own WISP (Written Information Security Plan).
