With tax season 2020 quickly approaching, we’ve been working hard to bring you a couple of new features to improve both your workflow efficiency and client communications for this busy time of year. Let’s take a look at some of the updates we have added to the platform this month.
We’re excited to announce that with the release of client requests in the task workspace, the process of assigning a request to a client profile has never been easier! With this update, you are now able to build a client request directly into a task within Canopy. Simply create a task and add a client request as a subtask. Once the client request is created, you are able to send and receive files as usual as well as communicate seamlessly with your client within the request.
Client requests in the task workspace reduces the steps needed to create a client request, bolsters lines of communication between you and your client, and improves your overall workflow.
Following popular demand, the ability to schedule recurring payments is finally here! Coming on the heels of our native payment solution, Canopy Payments, you are now able to set custom schedules directly to recurring invoices to automatically charge clients for your services. Recurring payments allows you to start, stop, and change details and payment information at any time, giving you the flexibility to tailor each payment and invoice with ease. Take the worry out of your monthly billing responsibilities and free up the time to focus on your client’s needs.
