What’s New?
New Time & Billing enhancements allow your firm to issue partial refunds, customize invoice numbering, and require time entry fields, improving your billing efficiency and accuracy.
Why it Matters
- Partial Refunds: Your firm sometimes issues partial refunds to your clients for reasons such as goodwill or overages. Now you can issue partial refunds (and full refunds previously released) inside Canopy.
- Custom Invoice Numbering: You have your own client invoice sequencing, so it’s time to use it.
- Required Time Entry Fields: Your practitioners sometimes omit important details—like client name, service, assignee, or related tasks—when adding time entries. You can now mandate what’s required from the desktop and mobile apps.
- Debit Card & Credit Card Payment Types: You can now easily see who paid by debit or credit card and filter those payment types accordingly.
