State Tax Extension Deadlines 2021 - Disaster Relief

Many states affected by recent natural disasters, including Hurricane Ida, have received tax extension deadline...extensions. 

Here are the states that have announced new deadlines. We will update this as more announcements are made, but let's hope for the sake of your sanity, things will calm down and we can regain some sense of control.

Individual State Tax Extension Deadlines 

California - Nov. 15 (Wildfires)

Louisiana - Jan. 3, 2022 (Hurricane Ida)

Michigan - Nov. 1 (Flooding, tornadoes)

Mississippi - Nov. 1 (Hurricane Ida;  designated areas only)

New Jersey - Jan. 3, 2022 (Hurricane Ida; designated areas only)

New York - Jan. 3, 2022 (Hurricane Ida; designated areas only)

North Carolina - Dec. 15 (Tropical Storm Fred)

Pennsylvania - Jan. 3, 2022 (Hurricane Ida)

Tennessee - Jan. 3, 2022 (Flooding)
